My Blue Noir -by Scribblemystic
Six very special children are trapped inside an insane asylum which is slowly turning into a surreal alternate reality. They will band together to survive their delusions, which have now taken physical shape. Dark humor and surreal horror abound in My Blue Noir.
The scanner is on the fritz so I am going to have to start my new project sooner than later. http://xerebus.smackjeeves.com/ I apologize deeply to anyone who has come across this comic only to see it hasn't been updated for a while. However I am working on a purely digital art comic at the above link. I hope to see you there.

Well, after assessing the popularity of some of the pages versus the bomb that was the last page. I am sure you guys will be enthused over the next page that is coming up. A Template has been chosen and a “style” as well. I thank all of you who have stuck with me so far as I fight through all the annoying crud that has been floating around in my head lately. Fans to me = silent support. I don’t necessarily need a tone of comments (although I would love you to death if you did) but “silent consent” means a truckload to me. Anyway, enough pandering; I hope you look forward to the nest page. See you all soon.

I haven't been very happy with the quality of work I have been pumping out lately so I am going to take a suggestion from my brother and create a schedule instead. Sundays and Wednesdays will be the official schedule for my webcomic. This (hopefully) will give me more time for research and development of my artwork. That being said, the updates on those two days will be a minimum of one page, but I am fully intending on putting out more, on those days when I can.
I am currently pouring over Adobe Illustrator tutorials, among other things, in hopes of being able to deliver to you guys the quality you deserve. Thank you to my viewers and curiosity seekers for your support so far.

Whew! Ten pages already? Generally speaking this is the moment of truth for most webcomics right? Every ten pages is like a decade for a webcomic (webcomic doggy years?); Most die before they have even begun ... Well not so for me. I work a part-time job, one I want to quit one of these days, and I want to draw comics and write stories full time, so for me, quitting is not an option. I gotta keep writing and keep creating until something sticks. So no. This webcomic will never die. Others may rise in its place, but this right here is the foundation for all the other worlds which will eventually branch from it. I and this "thing" I have created will never go away.
That being said. Until my next page (which will be up soon) here is a nifty present.
This is the music I listen to on youtube while writing and drawing for the comic. The playlist will update now and then so check it out sometime:

Instead of mucking up the comic with filler artwork, I have created the "Side Show" gallery which will hold various "filler" images as well as offers for print that I am putting up in my store. Feel free to check it out sometime.

Woah! it just dawned on me that I can move all of my blog activity to here and shut my blog down. No one was reading it anyway. So I think this is exactly what I will do.
Combine both my blog and my comic into one arena!
So nice to know that my photobucket account works with this too.

I really don't understand myself sometimes. One day I can be making some headway, I can sit back and say I did a good job on a project. Then the next day I loose all consistency in my artwork! ARRRRGGGGHHHH! Well .. it is what it is, time to design a few T shirts or something to make myself feel better.

My old comic is coming back. I plan on winging it most of the way and smashing a ton of ideas together. Which works for this comic since madness is the central theme for it. Merchandising will not be that far behind afterwards. I just need to get stuff out.
